Praxis expands its global corporate services offering

Independent financial services firm Praxis Group has today announced plans to expand its international corporate services division.

Building on its well-established corporate administration capabilities, Praxis is investing in both its funds business in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and its company secretarial services in the UK and Jersey, with further developments in the pipeline as part of the Group’s strategic growth plans.

The expansion is being led by Ava Fairclough, who has over 15 years of experience in the corporate services sector: 'I am excited to be able to announce these developments to the market. We are seeing a strong demand from clients in the Middle East who are looking for expert teams who can deliver bespoke fund administration services on the ground.

'We are also responding to the steady growth of international businesses, HNWIs, family offices, funds, and law firms who want to partner with qualified company secretarial specialists and ensure their governance and compliance obligations are met, so that they can focus on their core business.'

Praxis was granted the first Trustee licence from the ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority in 2016, with the licence extended in August 2021 to include Company Service Provider (CSP) activity. In June 2017, the Group was given a further licence to provide administration services to a collective investment fund, making it the first and longest running provider of fund administration services in the region authorised by the FSRA.

As part of the Group’s growth in the Middle East it has invested in a ground-breaking digital platform enabling companies in the region to manage their end of service benefits (EOSB).

The developments are part of Praxis’ four-year strategic growth plan, which includes reviewing its global footprint and service lines, and maximising opportunities across private wealth and corporate services.
