What you'll do
As a People Business Partner, you will be the linchpin connecting our organisation's vision with its people. Your responsibilities will include:
Strategy and planning
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to align HR strategies with business goals
- Providing guidance on people practices, including restructures and succession planning
- Developing innovative HR solutions to drive business success
- Acting as a coach and feedback provider to enhance business efficiency
Employee relations
- Serving as the primary point of contact for employees, addressing queries professionally and confidentially
- Offering support, advice, and coaching to managers who are dealing with complex staff issues
- Conducting investigations following established policies and procedures.
Talent management and development
- Partnering with managers to identify, retain, develop, and reward top talent
- Ensuring swift and fair resolution of performance issues
- Defining training needs and supporting staff who are undertaking professional qualifications
Resourcing
- Working with the leadership to create clear resourcing plans
- Collaborating with the Talent Acquisition lead to source talent
- Participating in second interviews for key roles
Remuneration and benefits
- Liaising with the People Operations Team for payroll processing
- Completing and analysing data for salary surveys, making informed recommendations
- Providing advice on salary and benefits queries
- Playing a key role in the annual salary review and promotion process
Policies and systems
- Acting as a People portal super user, ensuring accurate and timely updates
- Working with HR Operations to maintain and embed HR policies
- Preparing reports and analysing data and trends as needed
Minimum requirements
- Minimum of five years' HR experience
- CIPD Level 5 qualification
- Financial services experience in a global organisation preferred
